Payment Methods
 
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard and American Express. If you are not comfortable with submitting credit card information you can also print out the order and fax it to us. (354-487-1450). You could then either send us a certified cheque, or make a direct deposit to our account. Please contact us  for information on how to make a direct transfer to our account.

  Vikwool is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of this web site, including any kind of misuse of creditcards.
 
The currency calculator
 
This nice feature will give you a very good idea of what our prices are in your local currency. Just click on the currency link in the upper right corner of your screen to activate this feature and select your local currency; " Select your currency". We cannot be held responsible for any errors in the currency calculator. Your order will always be calculated and charged based on ISK.
 
Security
 
When you shop at our site, your personal information (not only credit card details, but also your name, address, etc.) is scrambled using the latest SSL technology. This information is sent to a Secure Server that in turn sends us this information scrambled, using a 1024 bit PGP key. You can double click on the lock that appears in your browser’s window (lower right corner) to verify the SSL certificate issued by THAWTE. 
 
Exchange Rates
 
All the prices in this shop are in ISK. Our invoice will also be in ISK. When we charge your credit card it will be in ISK, calculated at the current exchange rate of the ISK vs. the USD. By the time your credit card is charged any fluctuation of the Icelandic currency will affect what you will actually be charged. 
 
Tax-free cheque referral code

If you have shopped at our two stores in Iceland you may have recieved a Tax-free cheque (if you shopped for more than ISK 4000,-). At the bottom of this cheque is a coupon attached which gives a 5% discount to everything you buy at this online store. All you have to do is enter the referral code (the very bottom of the coupon) on the 'Personal Information' page, where you fill out your name, address etc. Unfortunately the discount can't be applied automatically. After we recieve your order we will check our database for your code. Then we will apply the discount manually to your order.
